Mass Webinar Series with Debra Snoddy

Program Details

This suite of 4 sessions is an opportunity for participants to explore the rich Tradition and traditions of the Catholic mass through input and dialogue sessions.  It is an opportunity for staff to learn about and depth their understanding of the rituals of the mass.

The mass consists of four ‘movements’, that is the Introductory rite (We Gather), the Liturgy of the Word (We Listen), the Liturgy of the Eucharist (We Respond), and the Concluding rites (We Go Forth).  Each session will explore the elements that make up these four movements to create the dialogical experience of a Eucharistic liturgy.  Debra will lead participants through both a ‘head’ and ‘heart’ experience of the elements of the mass and encourage us to consider how these impact us spiritually and how they may inform practice when leading student liturgy or classroom teaching.
