Gunggandji (Fitzroy Island) Experience
This day of Encounter Seasons of Creation 1 begins with a cruise across Trinity Inlet to Fitzroy Island. Upon arrival, participants will be invited into an outdoor experience of deep listening to Country, Acknowledgement of Country, and prayer (weather permitting). A variety of experiences within nature are available for self-selection, with options for re-energising, rejuvenating, re-creating or reflecting. Through a dialogical process, participants will explore integral ecology through the lens of Laudato Si and with Scripture from Genesis. Participants will engage in a process of synodality through spiritual conversations on wisdom writings to continue the practice of deep listening to one another.
