DIBELS (Diagnostic Indicators of Basic Early Literacy Skills) is an assessment system for the prevention and early intervention of reading difficulties. The system includes a set of integrated measures that assess the core skills required for reading acquisition and measures the effectiveness of instruction and intervention towards student reading achievement.
From 2025, all P-2 students will be screened three times per year, using DIBELS.
The DIBELS Training session will provide an introduction and overview of the key features and functionality of the system.
