A high-performing school leadership team is the cornerstone of a successful school. Their collaborative efforts foster a culture of excellence, innovation, and inclusivity, driving the entire school community toward shared goals. At the beginning of the year, a strong leadership team sets the tone by engaging in strategic planning sessions, prioritizing clear communication, and establishing a supportive environment for both staff and students. By aligning their vision and goals, they can inspire confidence, cultivate resilience, and ensure that everyone starts the year with a unified, motivated, and positive mindset.
This program aims to support your school leadership team to start putting the “pieces” together for team effectiveness. This program will develop your knowledge and skills about the behaviours of successful teams and allow you time to consider how to embed these practices in the work of your team.
Themes include building trust, communication, strategic thinking, instructional leadership, clarity of role and commitment to performance, accountability, and wellbeing.
The program is run over two days at the start of the year with ongoing team support and development provided through the out the year. Ideally all team members would attend the beginning session, but this is not essential for a team to enrol.
School teams are welcome to organise overnight attendance as part of their commitment to connecting with each other.
Fee: $120/ head (includes venue hire, morning tea and lunch and parking for 2 days) Schools will be invoiced in November 2024.
