Educators like to be informed about the latest developments in Education and especially regarding the changes that are part of the educational scene at all levels and in all places. By engaging in different types of research, teachers can add significantly to their professional and pedagogical repertoire, to improve their teaching practices and their students’ outcomes.
It is an assumption that undertaking research is a laborious and time-consuming process, which is necessary only in special circumstances, but in fact research should be an ongoing part of any educator’s routine, as it is part of any doctor’s or other professional’s routine. As in everything, the important thing is the ‘know how’. This PD aims to enable educators to reflect on what research is and how to engage in it in a ‘painless’ and effective way.
Session 1 & 3 are targetted towards teaching practioners and middle leaders.
