The Term 4 PLC is an interactive online session that will provide guidance on compiling EAL/D learner data for the February 2027 Non-State Schools Census. The session is recommended for staff who are new to overseeing EAL/D matters at their school or would benefit from a refresher on census requirements and processes.
Session Outline
- 9:00 am – 10:30 am | EAL/D Census Information Session Overview of census requirements, EAL/D learner identification and data collection processes. (Paola Garces and Bernadette Barker)
- 10:30 am – 11:30 am | Independent Preparation Dedicated time for participants to review and prepare their school’s EAL/D learner data for the census.
- 11:30 am – 12:00 pm | Questions and Next Steps An opportunity to ask questions, and plan next steps.
