Continuing on from our work together in 2025, the Second-Year Teacher program will allow participants to dive deeper into their own teacher identity and call to vocations.
The Days of the Year will focus on:
- Professional Identity
- Holding Professional Learning Conversations with Students, Parents and Colleagues
- Increasing skill set in pedagogical practices and curriculum understanding, planning and assessing.
- Well -Being
- Networking and Sharing of Practice
Term 2 – Teacher Registration Portfolio Preparation
For all 2nd year and above teachers who have not yet attained Full Teacher Registration
All teachers, 2nd year and above, who have not yet moved to Full Teacher registration are encouraged to attend this event. In this final session of the ECT programme, those teachers, who are still Provisionally Registered will be provided with the time and support to evidence the AITSL Teaching standards with examples from their practice. Participants will be supported in annotating and organising their evidence according to the Standards in a folio of their choosing.
All participants must seek clarification from their Principal, or their Folio Reviewer, as to their expectations and requirements and bring examples of practice to the event.
This day will provide an opportunity to draw on colleagues’ and Workforce Capability’s knowledge and skills to address as much of the QCT Teacher registration requirements as possible
