Calming the Waters
This day of Encountering Our Story Part 2 invites second-year teachers to a day of retreat with a focus on wellbeing and spirituality. Participants will be guided through relationally responsive experiences of prayer, mindfulness, and meditation to create space for personal growth and investigate strategies to support the development of emotional intelligence when working in teams. Participants will also be invited into a recontextualised experience of Scripture through the miracle story of Jesus Calms the Waters and reflect on personal meanings from the Gospel story.
