The Bishop Michael Putney Memorial Lecture is a joint project of the Brisbane Roman Catholic Archdiocesan Council for Ecumenism & Inter-religious Relations, and Queensland Churches Together (the Council of Churches in Queensland).
It commemorates the life and ministry of Bishop Michael Putney who was a significant leader in international and national ecumenical affairs, principally through the international Methodist – Catholic dialogue and the national Uniting – Catholic dialogue.
