Catholic Social Teaching offers us a framework for living God’s Mission in this world. Staff would be invited to reflect, dialogue and participate in immersive activities which allow for making the connections between the CSTs and my role in the Cairns Catholic Education Community. All our formation days are grounded in Scripture and allow staff opportunities for the integration of Scripture into their application of CSTs in their school curriculums. Our work with staff in schools and systems across the country has resonated as it is founded in a contemporary understanding of mission. That is – that we are all contributing to God’s mission in this world and have the wonderful model of Jesus to know how to reveal Christ to each other in the everyday.
