The HIES are evidence-based strategies designed to support educators in maximising the engagement and progress of all students, through strong teacher-student relationships and safe productive learning environments. The strategies presented during the training will be practical, evidence-based, and adaptable to meet your school and students’ unique needs.
The work from the HIES workshop will inform a Tier 1 High Impact Engagement Strategies resource, presented similarly to the High Impact Teaching Strategies (HITS), with a long-term goal of producing a Diocesan Tier 1 High Impact Strategies training (including HIES and HITS) available to all teaching staff.
